Online Communications Project Lead with CMS and Marketing Automation Expertise

For a public sector organization, we are seeking an experienced Online Communication Project Manager with strong technical skills in information systems.

General Information

• Hours: 24 hours per week

• End Date: October 31, 2027

Tasks and Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering various projects within a multi-year online communication strategy. Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and implementing a project plan for audience segmentation within the Spotler email marketing system.
2. Managing the upgrade or replacement of the current CMS (Umbraco).
3. Ensuring the implementation of WCAG 2.1 guidelines across all online communication channels.
4. Optimizing the event registration system (Registraid), including integration with Spotler, or implementing a new solution.
5. Supporting events such as Open Days with suitable digital tools.
6. Exploring additional applications, including carpooling solutions and AI-powered meeting support tools.
7. Establishing a measurement framework for communication KPIs and ensuring organizational adoption.
8. Collaborating with software developers to maximize the value of the systems in use.
9. Further developing the visual and communication strategy, including audience segmentation.
10. Managing social media channels, email campaigns, and digital communications surrounding events and meetings.

Assignment Objectives

1. Ensure communication tools are effectively configured to optimally reach target audiences.
2. Guarantee WCAG-compliant online communications.
3. Achieve optimal use and management of Spotler for relevant email communications.
4. Ensure effective setup and management of Registraid for event registrations.
5. Provide digital support for Open Days.
6. Further develop or replace the website.
7. Deliver high-quality online communications aimed at a professional network.

Requirements

The candidate:

1. Has a demonstrable HBO (Bachelor’s degree) level of education and thinking.
2. Is available for the entire duration of the assignment.
3. Has a minimum of 10 years of experience in online communications.
4. Has experience with multiple Umbraco implementation projects.
5. Has experience with Spotler and Registraid.
6. Has experience applying WCAG guidelines in online communications.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who:

1. Have experience with online communications within the civil engineering, road construction, and water infrastructure sectors.
2. Have experience working with various government organizations, such as municipalities, provinces, or central government agencies.
3. Have experience with website management, usability, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
