Engineer Network Automation

The Project Engineer Network Automation is responsible realizing project deliverables. The Project Engineer Network Automation designs, tests and supports network and firewall automation solutions for FortiNet equipment with Ansible. The goal of the project is to deploy standardized solutions on a global scale with a minim of manual input.

The Project Engineer Network Automation will liaison with the Network team, to adhere to Viterra’s standards and to make sure that the created automation scripts can be managed by the network team.

Position in the organization:
The Project Engineer Network Automat is part of the One Networking project team.

Knowledge, education, skills and experience:
Knowledge of the Network & Firewall landscape:
- Fortigate API’s
- FortiManager
- FortiAnalyser
- F5 API’s
- Fortigate Firewalls

• Ansible Basics: Automation Technical Overview
• Red Hat Ansible for Network Automation
• 3-5 years of experience in building automation solutions for enterprise networks.
• Based in the Netherlands

In principle, this concerns a secondment assignment, but it is also possible to enter into permanent employment with our client. We are very flexible in that regard.
