As a network/infrastructure manager, you will work in the Application Security & Delivery team, within the Network and Datacenter layer. This self-organizing team with advanced technology offers an informal working atmosphere and room for your own input. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for various products such as F5 BIG-IP, BIG-IQ, McAfee and others. You are responsible for, among other things, the maintenance and setup of the F5 / McAfee Web Gateway platform according to existing procedures.

You are also responsible for ensuring the operational continuity and stability of our network infrastructure. You communicate with users about difficulties, especially network-related difficulties, and offer solutions. You monitor the network systems and evaluate network usage to improve performance and prevent disruptions. In addition, you share your new knowledge with colleagues and stay technically up-to-date yourself.

You also work in a consignment system, which means that you are available outside regular working hours to tackle problems. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and committed team while further developing your skills and expertise in network and infrastructure management.

To fill this position, it is important that you have a higher professional education. In-depth knowledge of products, services and protocols in the field of networks is a requirement. It is also important that you have experience and knowledge of ICT components such as F5, Linux, McAfee Web Gateway and Splunk. Specific and up-to-date knowledge of setting up and managing networks in large infrastructures is also an essential requirement.

A lot is also expected of you as a person. For example, it is important that you are proactive, analytical, honest and have a strong sense of responsibility. In addition, you must have excellent oral and written communication skills, both in Dutch and English. You are expected to be flexible, reliable and customer-oriented and also have an eye and feeling for your environment. You must be able to switch quickly at different levels, be a go-getter and feel at home in a complex environment. Working in a team with fellow professionals and tackling challenges are also important aspects of the position.

To keep your knowledge up to date, you need to continuously educate yourself and stay informed of the latest techniques in your field.
